Jack L. Walton, 80, of Tuscarawas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on February 15, 2013 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia. Born on September 6, 1932, he was a son of the late Clarence Adrian and Marie Alice (Weigand) Walton. Jack was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Tuscarawas.
On December 20, 1969 Jack married the former Joyce Ann Robinson who survives him at their home. He is also survived by a son, Jack (Jeannie) Walton of Tuscarawas; daughters, Brenda Cochran of the Tuscarawas area, Doris (Jeff) Belknap of Dover, and Debra (Terry) Vickers of Freeport; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a brother, Gary (Rebecca) Walton of Uhrichsville.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by a brother, Alec Walton; a son-in-law, Scott Kastor; and an infant son, Jack Walton.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service officiated by Rev. Wallace Anderson with a military committal service conducted by the V.F. W. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
