Helen L. Maple

Helen L. Maple, 97, of Gnadenhutten, went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2012. Born on June 8, 1915 she was a daughter of the late George and Carol (McCoy) Carpenter.

On August 18, 1933 she married Kenneth Dale Maple who she enjoyed over 43 year of marriage with until he passed away on November 5, 1972. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and also had worked as a Nursing Home aid. Helen attended The Star in the East in Canton.

Helen’s surviving family includes sons, Richard (Sherrie) Maple of Coshocton, Brent (Karen) Maple of Newcomerstown and David Maple of Uhrichsville; a daughter, Diane (Daryl) Miles of Gnadenhutten; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Services for Helen, officiated by Pastor Jim Gross will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday June 27, 2012. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Ridgecrest Cemetery in Dover. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday June 26, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
