Helen Lucille Grant, 93, of Uhrichsville, passed away at her home on Friday, January 29, 2021. Born May 9, 1927 in Uhrichsville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence McKinley Norris and Leona Mae (Hattery) Norris.

A lifelong Uhrichsville resident, Helen was a 1945 graduate of Uhrichsville High School and a longtime member of Uhrichsville First Moravian Church. On October 10, 1947, she married Charles Gabriel Grant and was blessed with nearly 48 years of loving marriage until his passing on May 8, 1995. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who dearly loved her family. She especially enjoyed the times when she could travel and camp with her husband.

Helen will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her children, Pam (Ronald) Krantz, Terry R. (companion, Shari Herbert) Grant, Jeffrey (Joyce) Grant, Matthew J. (Michele) Grant, and Melissa A. (companion, Mel Underwood) Stocker; grandchildren, Phillip Krantz, Trevor, Chelsea, Makayla, and Reanna Grant, Madalyn and Lydia Stocker, Stasha and Ashley Misko, and Chad and Chris Boreman; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth Otto and Jean McPeck Wheeler.

Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Tuesday, February 2, at 1:30 p.m. in Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery in Gnadenhutten where she will be interred beside her beloved husband. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring her memory may be made to The Wilderness Center, P.O. Box 202, Wilmot, OH 44689.
