Gregory A. Parrish

Gregory Alan Parrish, 59, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Born March 21, 1962 in Dennison, he was a son of E. Louise (nee Keith) Parrish of Uhrichsville and the late Charles Ray Parrish.

Greg owned his own construction company – Parrish Home Improvements – for over 30 years and will be remembered as one of the hardest working men you’d ever meet. He was a lifelong Twin City resident and attended Bethel Worship Center in Uhrichsville. Greg was an avid hunter, especially of deer and rabbits, was the sort of fellow who would help anyone in need, and was always up for an adventure. Even though he was a “big, tough man”, he was a teddy bear to his family whom he loved dearly. He was a devoted father and grandfather who leaves a shining legacy of love and laughter.

He will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes his mother, Louise; daughter, Brittany (Steven) Sanner; grandchildren, Aiden, Aaron, and Madeleine Sanner; brothers, Steve (Mary) Parrish and Kevin (Anisa) Parrish; sister, Gail Parrish; many nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends, including Paul Fish and Doug (Sierra) Hewison and their families with whom he was more like a brother. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kelly Parrish.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Twin City Sportsman Club, 84985 Garner Rd., Tippecanoe, OH  44699 for a celebration of Greg's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
