While in the Cleveland area, she was a member of the Cleveland Women’s Bowling Association and, for 19 years, served on its board as a director and 3rd vice president. She was selected for the Hall of Fame for meritorious service in 1983. She also carried a top average in two out of three all-star leagues of 188 and was selected as a member of the city all-star team. Upon her return to Uhrichsville, she and a partner won the Dover/New Philadelphia city doubles. Grace also bowled in the Twin City Association. She and her partner, Janie Blickensderfer, placed in doubles at the Ohio Women’s State Tournament. Grace also placed in Actual All Events at the state tournament in Dayton. She enjoyed playing golf in the Tuesday Morning Ladies’ League at Big Ben in Uhrichsville for over 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards with her golf pals in the winter and with the seniors at the nutrition site at Jaycee Village where she also served as a volunteer for over 20 years.
