Grace Irene Andreatta

Grace Irene Andreatta, 93, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Schoenbrunn Healthcare Center following a brief illness. Born on December 17, 1917, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Pinamonti) Kerschbaumer. Grace graduated as Valedictorian from Midvale High School in the class of 1935 and went on to attend Safford Business College. Following her schooling, she worked for US Concrete for 26 years and helped her son with his tax business in Uhrichsville for 35 years up until this past year.

Grace was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was involved in various card clubs along with volunteering at the Dennison Depot and being an active member of the Immaculate Conception Church at Dennison.

On October 28, 1946, Grace married Leno Louis Andreatta and together they enjoyed almost 65 years of marriage. Along with her husband, her surviving family includes, two sons; David (Patty) Andreatta of New Philadelphia and Dale Andreatta of Columbus; two grandsons, Dr. Brock Andreatta of Chicago, IL., and Dr. Drew Andreatta of Tucson, AZ.; two sisters-in-law, Erma Overholt and Iris Kerschbaumer; two brothers-in-law, Fred (Margaret) Andreatta and Gene (Miriam) Andreatta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and sisters, Louis Kerschbaumer, Fred (Mary) Kerschbaumer, Della (Joseph) Anzivino, Flora Kerschbaumer and Lillian (Herman) DeMattio; a sister-in-law, Anna (Don) Boles; and a brother-in-law, Gene Overholt.

Services for Grace, officiated by Father Anthony Lonzo, will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church at Dennison. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. Those wishing to honor Grace’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Immaculate Conception Church.
