Glenn Allen Page, Jr., 88, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation in Uhrichsville, after a period of declining health. Born January 13, 1933 in his family’s home in Uhrichsville where he resided for the rest of his life, he was the last surviving child of the late Glenn Allen and Margaret (Malter) Page.
Glenn proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and was stationed in Alaska. He then had a long career as a machine operator for several area companies, beginning with Larson Clay, followed by Alsco, and finally Handy Harmon from which he retired. Glenn was an avid fisherman, and he also loved to watch sports, especially football and basketball, as a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. He always looked forward to going out to eat with his family and friends and spent many happy hours listening to the music of Nat King Cole.
He will be deeply missed by his surviving family which includes his son, Kirt (Christy) Page; grandsons, Vincent (companion, Taylor) Page and Kameron (companion, Reba) Page; great-grandson, Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nicole Kinsey; brother, James “Jimmy” Page; sisters, Peggy Knotts, Shirley Roush, and Ginger Richards; companion, Pat Wallace; and former spouse and mother of his son, Maxine Knotts.
According to Glenn’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. He will be interred beside his parents and brother in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
