Glenda M. Morris

Glenda Marlene Morris, 85, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. Born May 28, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Charles Glenn and Myra Ida (Davis) Meek.

On September 14, 1956, Glenda married Dan Morris who survives her at their home. From that moment on, she devoted her life to the loving care of her family. She will be remembered as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose entire life revolved around her family in whom she took much joy.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by their daughter, Danna Morris; son, Dan (Kimberly) Morris; grandchildren, Cody (Ashley) Morris, Cole (Taylor) Morris, Cori (Dominic) Bell; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Marley, and Barrett, with three more expected this year; and a number of nieces and nephews.

According to Glenda’s wishes, her family will hold a private graveside service in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery where she will be interred. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring her memory may be made to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. As Glenda’s family goes through this time of grief, they kindly request that friends please give them their privacy by not calling or stopping at the house.
