Germaine "Jerri" A. Sell

Germaine Ann “Jerri” Sell, 74, of Bowerston, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton, Ohio. Born November 11, 1946 in Midvale, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James Paul and Rachel Blanche (Ritenour) Wires. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Brady Hidey; sister, Shelly Morris; brother, Paul Wires; and granddaughter, Charlee Owens.

Jerri was a devoted wife to Ralph Leroy Sell, Jr. to whom she was wed on February 28, 1976; loving mother to Carol Owens, Sandra (Steve) Miller, James (Tracy) Hidey, Darla (Aaron) Handler, Brenda (Paul) Chaney, and Nicki (Cecil) Anno; and proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 31 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lana Peyatt and Laura (Larry) Sellards; brother, Louie Wires; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, in Bowerston’s Longview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
