Gary N. Stafford

Gary Nile Stafford, 75, of Uhrichsville, passed away at his home on Monday, December 6, 2021. Born July 25, 1946 in Dover, he was a son of the late Robert Nile Stafford and Beulah Dase (Gatchell) Stafford Reichman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Reuben “Manny” Reichman who raised him like his own.

Gary was a lifelong area resident and a 1964 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. He served in the local Army Reserves Railway Battalion in Dennison and was a lineman for American Electric Power for over 40 years. Gary enjoyed membership in many area social clubs, especially the time he spent at Tuscarawas V.F.W. Post #7943. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison.

He is survived by his sons, Justin (Georgina) Stafford and Tony Stafford; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Victoria, Syarria, Kyla, and Gauge; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Lincoln, and Miles; brother, Alan Reichman; sisters, Patty (Don) Hamilton and Vicki Lynn Stafford Deas; a number of nieces and nephews; and his extended family, Victor (Claudia) Rodriguez and their sons, Sebastian and Santi.

According to Gary’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
