Frank Hall

Frank Hall, 85, of Tuscarawas, died Friday, October 22, 2010 at Twin City Hospital at Dennison. Born August 11, 1925 at Floyd Co., KY, he was a son of the late Cass and Bessie (Adkins) Hall.

Frank had been the owner and proprietor of the Y Tavern for many years and he still enjoyed spending time there playing euchre. Frank was also an avid mushroom hunter and enjoyed listening to music.

On October 17, 1948, Frank married Wanda I. (Parrish) Hall who preceded him in death on August 27, 1978.

Frank’s surviving family includes his daughter, Mrs. Richard (Karen Sue) Norman of Freeport; granddaughters, Mrs. Steve (Jaime) Sentz of Port Washington and Kim Huff of Columbus; great granddaughter, Mackenzie Sentz of Port Washington; brothers, Robert (Donna) Hall and Arthur Hall; sisters, Florence Singleton and Maggie Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by his companion, Betty Romig and nine brothers and sisters.

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, he will be cremated with no visitation to be held. Frank’s family will hold a graveside service at a later date where he will be interned with his late wife Wanda at West Union Cemetery at Gilmore. Those wishing to honor Frank’s memory with a memorial donation are encouraged to do so to Community Hospice, (the former Hospice of Tuscarawas Co.), 201 W. Third St., Dover, OH 44622.
