Evelyn I. Fisher, 91, of Dennison passed away on August 22, 2015.Born February 20, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Marion Raymond and Lucille (Parks) Willard.
Evelyn graduated from Dennison High School in 1942. She was the secretary for Dennison High School and Claymont’s Junior High until her retirement in 1988. She was an avid Cleveland Indian’s fan and was a member of the former Grant Street U.M.C.
On July 24, 1943 Evelyn married Roy M. Fisher who preceded her in death. They are survived by their son, James A. “Jim” (Sue) Fisher of Dennison; granddaughters, Leslie Ann (Nate) Penrod, Jennifer (Robert “Bub”) Wallace, and Kari (Bill) Abel; great grandchildren, Camille, Corra, and Carter Love, Dylan and Kylah Penrod, Averi, Hannah, Kendyl, Kole, and Whitnee Wallace and Hadley, Piper, and Hudson Abel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jane Ann Fisher and her siblings, Rodney and Harold Willard and Edna Pauline Willard.
Services for Evelyn, officiated by Rev. Mark Unrue will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday August 27, 2015 at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the charity of one’s choice.
