Elizabeth Ann Greer

August 31, 1930 — January 12, 2025

Elizabeth Ann Greer, 94, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Hennis Care Centre in Dover, Ohio, on January 12, 2025.  Born on August 31, 1930 in Uhrichsville, she was a daughter of the late Harry Forrest and Ruth Irene (Simmons) Thompson.

On March 5, 1950, she married William “Bill” Greer who preceded her in death on December 29, 2023. They are survived by their children, Alan (Jill) Greer, Randy Greer, Jill Green, and Lisa (Keith) Kinsey; grandchildren, Jerry Greer, Benji (Nicole) Greer, Jason (Holly) Greer, Amy (Jason) Holling, Jennifer (Barry) Chambers, Michelle (Jeremy) Engel, Julie (Justin) Page, Dawn (George) Flanagan, Brandi (Danny Parker) Dyson, and Lauren (Michael) Gross; great-grandchildren, Payton and Alexis Greer, Janelle and Macey Chambers, Andrew, Olivia and Jacob Greer, Morgan and Avery Holling, Courtney Fluharty, Rich Flanagan, Ashley VanMeter, and Guinevere and Morgan Gross. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Peggy Vesco, and sister-in-law, Barbara Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois DiDonato and Emma Lehigh; brother, Harry “Bob” Thompson; and son-in-law, Terry Green.

Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker who truly loved taking care of her home and family.

She and Bill enjoyed roller skating, as well as square dancing with The Star Promenaders. They also enjoyed camping for many years at Tappan Lake and Myrtle Beach Travel Park.

Pastor Tom Hendershot will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home where her family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. Memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Hospice and Uhrichsville First Moravian Church.
