Edward L. King II, 40, of Dennison, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015, at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia while surrounded by his family and friends. Born April 15, 1975 in Dover, he was a son of Edward King I and Vickie (Casebeer) King of Dennison.
Ed was a 1994 graduate of Claymont High School and Buckeye Career Center. For the past five years, he was employed by Robin Industries. In his spare time, he loved to play pool, was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed car shows.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Doris (Cameron) King whom he married April 16, 2004; children, Nathan (Stephanie), Austin, Edward III, and Katelynn; an expected grandchild; siblings, Scott (Chrissy) King and Melissa (companion, Todd Law) Boles; grandmothers, Ethel King and Dessie Casebeer; mother-in-law, Elaine Cameron; dear nieces and nephews; and several sisters- and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William “Bud” King and Gene Casebeer, and his father-in-law, John Cameron. Ed’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude to Community Hospice for their excellent care.
Pastor Michael Travis will officiate Ed’s funeral at 1pm on Friday, September 18, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am to 1pm on Friday at the funeral home.
