E. Ann Craig

July 17, 1945 — December 11, 2015

Elizabeth Ann Craig, 70, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Bowerston Hills Healthcare. Born July 17, 1945 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Dennis “Bud” and Mary Florence (Reichman) McCahill.

Ann was a graduate of Tuscarawas-Warwick High School before marrying the love of her life, Robert Harry Craig who survives her, on January 16, 1965. She is also survived by children, Shelby (Greg) Gatts, Kelly (Tom) Powell, Mindy Craig, and Bobby Craig, II; grandchildren, Mandy (Brock) Sentz, Courtney (Troy) Burdette, Jordan (fiancé, Jess Helter) Powell and Jenna Powell; great-grandchildren, Braxton and Bryer Burdette, Nolan Powell and River Sentz; siblings, Ronald (Marti) McCahill, Shirley Sinkovich, Harold (Mary) McCahill, Barb (Roy) Schilling and Karen (Dave) Green; brother-in-law, Dennis Urfer; sister-in-law, Brenda McCahill; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Lou Ridgeway, Janice Urfer, Charles “Chip” McCahill and Dennis (Linda) McCahill, and a nephew, Chad McCahill.

A lifelong resident of the area, Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who had also worked at several area business including FabOhio and Miller Studios. She was a longtime member of Feed Spring Church near Uhrichsville.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Milo Baker, will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday, December 20, 2015, in Feed Spring Church, 30005 Moravian Trail Road, Uhrichsville, OH 44683, with visitation for an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH 44663 and Feed Spring Church, c/o Pastor Milo Baker, 402 Main St., Bowerston, OH 44695.
