Dustin Michael Norman

Dustin Michael Norman, 30, of New Philadelphia, formerly a Twin City resident, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. Born October 17, 1988 in Dover, he was a son of Lisa A. Orr and Jeffrey A. Norman.

Dustin was a 2007 graduate of Claymont High School where he wrestled and played baseball throughout his school years. He will be remembered by his many friends for his infectious smile, sense of humor, and heart of gold.

He will be deeply missed by his surviving family which includes his mother, Lisa and her companion, Gary Edwards; father, Jeffrey and his companion, Amie Reichman; son, Zayden Michael Norman; sister, Erin Norman; half-sister, Tori Norman; grandparents, Ed and Cheryl Orr; aunts and uncles, Leslie Corpman and her companion, Terry Porterfield, Edward and Shelley Orr, Pat and Joell Norman, Heather and Gary Watkins, Stacie and Aaron Bowman, and Todd “T.T.” Corpman; many great-aunts and great-uncles, including Ida Mae Hunter with whom he was especially close; numerous cousins, including Courtney Corpman who was like a sister to him; and a host of dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rick and Carolyn Norman; great-grandparents which included, Cy and Marybelle Hunter; and cousin, Hunter William Orr.

Services, officiated by Pastor Florence McNutt, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity that supports addiction recovery.
