Doris was a resident of Tuscarawas for most of her life and had worked for a time for the village’s town hall and park. She also volunteered at the Tuscarawas V.F.W. for a number of years. She was a member of the Tuscarawas Senior Citizens, as well as the Dover V.F.W. Aux., who enjoyed working puzzles, playing bingo, dancing, and traveling, especially to Las Vegas. Her greatest joy and satisfaction, though, came from caring for her family as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
