Donna L. (Weaver) Schorr

Donna Lee (Weaver) Schorr, 55, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Born August 3, 1968 in Dover, she was the only child of the late Charles Orville and Virginia Lee (Hannah) Weaver.

A lifelong Twin City resident, Donna was a 1986 graduate of Claymont High School. She was a former employee of CSS in New Philadelphia and had also worked at the Uhrichsville Arby’s for many years. In her spare time, she loved puzzles all of kinds, from jigsaws to word puzzles.

Donna will be deeply missed by her son, James L. “Jamie” Downing, and her large extended family which includes many cousins, including Ellen Sheeley and Beverly Coburn with whom she was especially close. She leaves behind her dear friends, Beth Grandison, Corarena Streeter, and Evelyn Gardner, and Diane Wengerd and Sherry Pringle whom she considered her sisters in all but blood. Donna is also survived by Russell Schorr to whom she had been married.

According to her wishes, Donna will be cremated. Her family plan to have a celebration of her life on a future date, and this website will be updated when details are confirmed.
