Donna Lee Bower

Donna Lee Bower, 81, of New Philadelphia, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Community Hospice Truman House. Born October 3, 1936 in Stillwater, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Rennie and Mary Ellen (Chandler) Crosier.

Donna graduated from Freeport High School prior to attending Bob Jones University and Akron Bible Institute. She retired from Greer Steel. She was a member of the 11 ^th Street Church of God in Uhrichsville where she was the organist for many years. In her spare time, she loved to read.

On June 6, 1974, she married Robert Wayne Bower who survives her, along with their son, Shawn Bower. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean (Andrew) Ross and Ruth (James) Jones; nephews, Michael (Amie) Jones and their daughter, and Kris (Carolyn) Crosier and their two sons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Dean Leroy Crosier.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Earl Miller, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, in Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia where she will be interred beside her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joy Missionary Circle at 11 ^th Street Church of God.
