On Friday, March 19, 2010, Diane Marie (Morgan) Householder, 46, of Dennison, O. went home to be with the Lord from Union Hospital in Dover, O., after quite a lengthy illness.
Born June 10, 1963 at Union Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Raymond and Eileen M. (Arnold) Morgan.
Diane was a lifelong resident of Dennison who was a graduate of Claymont High School in the class of 1981 and a member of Dennison Presbyterian Church. She had been employed in a variety of capacities in our area, including at the Scio Pottery, Harcatus Headstart, as an EMT for United Ambulance, and as a bus driver for Claymont Public Schools where she had worked for sixteen years until her retirement in 2004.
In her spare time, Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, enjoying the weather on her pontoon boat, or even enjoying herself at her desk, coloring with her pens. She especially loved riding motorcycles until her health prevented her. A devoted and loving wife and mother, her family and friends always seemed to bring the most joy to her life. Diane was also a member of the Dennison Eagles Ladies’ Auxiliary and the Uhrichsville Moose Ladies’ Auxiliary.
On May 18, 2002, Diane married Richard E. Householder who survives her. She is also survived by four children, Danielle M. Morgan and her fiancé, Phillip Bucklin, of Alamogordo, N.M., and Cole, Cheyenne, and Cody Householder of the home; and her loving companion, Sassy Rue, the family pet, also of the home. She was preceded in death by her loving parents along with many aunts and uncles from both sides of her family, as well as many dear friends.
Services for Diane, officiated by Rev. Carolyn Behrendt and Rev. Brian Flood, will be held on Monday, March 22, at 2:00 p.m. in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow beside her beloved parents in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home to help defray the cost of her prolonged illness.
