Diana A. Renner

Diana Anna Renner, 87, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Born October 19, 1933 in Buffalo, New York, she was the last surviving child of the late Leo and Anna Anastasia (Butkiewicz) Polik.

After proudly serving her country in the U. S. Air Force, Diana enjoyed a long career as a bookkeeper, having been employed by a local lumber mill and Dover Public Library, before her final position at Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services from which she retired.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Arthurs; sons, Leo Renner and Donald Renner; grandchildren, Lauren Renner, Dr. Nicole (Frank) Luther, and Joshua Arthurs; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Arthurs.

According to Diana’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s local food pantry.
