Dawna Jean Foltz, 79, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. Born November 3, 1942 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Dean Elden and Anna Helen (Roseberry) Fisher.
Dawna was a 1962 graduate of Dennison High School who had been a member of the White Shrine in her younger years. A member of Park Christian Church in Dennison, she spent much of her life as a Twin City resident, but had also lived in Canton for a number of years. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, as well as for her lifelong love of fishing.
Her surviving family includes her sons, Jack D. Foltz, Jr. and Michael D. (Andrea) Foltz; daughter, Carol (companion, Mike Cervellini) Foltz; daughter-in-law, Wendy Foltz; grandchildren, Christopher (fiancé, Kara Collins) Foltz, Reilly (Sarah) Foltz, Marshel Foltz, Kassidy Foltz, Gavin (fiancée, Celisity Page) Foltz, and Marissa Nealey; great-grandchildren, Stevie and Elijah; brothers, Dean E. “Butch” (Sherry) Fisher, Jr. and Michael G. “Mick” (Sue) Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Polly (James) Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas F. Foltz, II, who died on January 3, 2022.
Services, officiated by Pastor Scot Caley, will be held at noon on Friday, January 21, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to noon on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association.
