David Lee Voshall, 65, of Uhrichsville, passed away at his home on Friday, August 12, 2016, following a sudden illness. Born September 28, 1950 in Dover, he was a son of the late Paul Eugene Voshall and Mary Elizabeth (Lineberger) Voshall-Parker.
David was a lifelong resident of Uhrichsville and member of Uhrichsville First United Methodist Church. After his graduation from Claymont High School in 1968, he served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and was a devoted owner of his two dear cats, Coco and Lucy.
His surviving family includes his sister, Cynthia (Don) Wagstaff; brother, Roger (Karen) Voshall; nieces, Rachel and Sara, along with their families; uncle, Bob Lineberger; and a number of cousins.
Services, officiated by Rev. Don Kraps, will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 16, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7pm on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Uhrichsville First United Methodist Church and Operation Warm & Cozy.
