David Francis Hartline

September 10, 1969 — August 17, 2013

David Francis Hartline, 43, of Roswell, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Union Hospital in Dover, following an apparent heart attack. Born September 10, 1969 in Dover, he was a son of Marjorie (Berry) Hartline of New Philadelphia and the late David Allen “Boob” Hartline.

A lifelong resident of the area, Dave was a mechanic for several area shops, most recently Parkway Nissan in Dover. He was also the second owner of D&A Towing. Dave was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially when they would picnic together at the lake. He attended Bethel Worship Center in Uhrichsville.

On November 27, 1987, he married the former Ann Marie Hatvany who survives him at their home. In addition to his wife and mother, he is also survived by their seven children, Kevin (Crystal) Hartline of Uhrichsville and Kimberly Ann, Brittany Nichole, David “D.J.”, Austin Steven, Katie Ashley and Tiffany Rose Hartline, all of the home; grandchildren, Benjamin, Hailey, Dawson, Kylee and Caleb; sister, Tammy (Rick) Harmon of Dundee; brothers, Jason (Tabitha) Hartline of Canton and Leroy (Robin) Hartline of Uhrichsville; parents-in-law, Richard and Rosemary Hatvany of Dundee; a very special aunt, Willie Robertson of Midvale, to whom he was especially close; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Adam “A.J.” Hartline; and a brother-in-law, Steven F. Hatvany.

Services for Dave, officiated by Pastor John Stevenson, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home. Interment will be in Dundee Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family, in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621, to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
