Darlene Kay Bollon, 52, of Gnadenhutten, moved to the City of Lights on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, after bravely battling cancer. Born February 21, 1969 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Charles Curtis Sanner and L. Darlene (Jones) Bridgeman.

A lifelong area resident, Darlene was a 1987 graduate of Claymont High School before studying psychology at Kent State University. She devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and homemaker who loved planting flowers each spring. She loved the Lord and looked forward every day to His return.

On July 19, 1997, she married Craig S. Bollon who survives her along with their sons, Joshua Bollon, Jacob Kilpatrick, and Luke Bollon, and granddaughter, Zoey Bollon. She is also survived by her brother, Jeff Sanner; sisters, Melissa Sanner and Marlene Korns (her twin); half brother, Steve Meese; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half brother, Eddie Bridgeman.

According to Darlene’s wishes, cremation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Parkway S.W., New Philadelphia, OH  44663.
