Dana R. Horvatic

Dana Richard Horvatic, 51, of Uhrichsville, formerly of Akron, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. Born March 26, 1967 in Akron, he was a son of the late John William Horvatic, Sr. and Patricia Mae (Hughes) Bowman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Albertha Horvatic; and his stepfather, Sonny Bowman.

His surviving family includes his siblings, John (Dian) Horvatic, Jr. of Florida, Janice Larch of Alabama, Connie Horvatic of Ohio, and Spike Horvatic of Florida; stepsiblings, Dean Grand, Jackie Davis, Don (Cindy) Grand, Wendy (Ed) Johnson, Julie Bowman and Aaron (Amy) Grand – all of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his friends and housemates at Stepping Stone Residential in Uhrichsville where he had received excellent care while residing there for nearly 25 years.

A private, family celebration of Dana’s life is planned for a future date. He will be interred in Tallmadge Cemetery with his father.
