Cynthia "Cindy" Kay Voorhies-Moss

Cynthia “Cindy” Kay Voorhies-Moss, 48, of Port Washington, formerly of Lock 17, passed away on February 25, 2017 at Amberwood Manor in New Philadelphia. Born August 28, 1968 in Dover she was a daughter of Alva “Al” Ross and Nancy Kay (Beckett) Voorhies.

Cindy was a 1986 Indian Valley graduate and also attended Buckeye J.V.S. She enjoyed collecting cardinals and was a member of New Life Church of God in Dover.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Corey (Stephanee) Voorhies and Kyle Voorhies; grandchildren, Conner, Leland, Emily, Brantley, and Vandever; a brother, Terry (Alma) Voorhies; and previous spouse, Randy Moss. She is preceded in death by an uncle, David Voorhies.

Services for Cindy will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with visitation held from 11 am to 1 pm at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Port Washington’s Union Cemetery. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
