Constance L. "Connie" Mctaggart

Constance Lucille “Connie” McTaggart, 72, of Bowerston, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio, after a lengthy illness. Born May 6, 1938 in Rimersburg, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Harry and May Belle (Fox) Bobbert.

A 1957 graduate of Laurel High School in Pennsylvania, Connie lived in many areas of the country throughout her life, including Texas, Washington, Colorado, and Arkansas. She worked in the computer industry for thirty years, in addition to being a loving mother and homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.

Connie’s surviving family includes her two daughters, Kathy McTaggart and Colleen Hobbs of Bowerston; three grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah Biddle and Erica Hobbs; three brothers, Larry Bobbert and his wife, Lois, of Kentucky, and Dana Bobbert and his wife, Susan, and Randy Bobbert of Pennsylvania; a sister, Mrs. John (Becky) Okomski of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bernice Fox.

In keeping with Connie’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public visitation or service. A private family memorial service is planned. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Arthritis Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
