Colleen O’Donahue Falcon, 69, of New Philadelphia, formerly of Dennison passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Truman Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia, after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 25, 1948 to the late Daniel and Rita (Krumenacker) O’Donahue.
Survivors include her sisters, Carol Hall, Patricia (Michael) Hartline, Rose (Jim) Schumacher, Beth (Richard) Nichols, Maureen O’Donahue, and brother, Dan (Pat) O’Donahue; stepdaughter, Theresa (Mike) Drexler; grandchildren, Carina and Zachary Drexler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Falcon; brothers, James and Brian O’Donahue; sister, Susan Hurley; and several infant siblings.
Colleen was a devout Christian and a dedicated prayer warrior. Selfless to a fault, at age 21 she took on the task of raising 5 younger siblings after the death of her mother. She enjoyed time spent with family, especially during the holidays. She reveled in the accomplishments of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. In her younger days, she was employed by the Evening Chronicle, MOLO Regional Library System, and the Society for Equal Access (SEA).
Memorial contributions can be made to Truman Community Hospice House of New Philadelphia. There will be no public visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
