Clyde Arthur Mazzoleni

Clyde Arthur Mazzoleni, 75, of New Philadelphia, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born May 15, 1946 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Charles Joseph and Wilma Augusta (Shuman) Mazzoleni.

Clyde lived in the Wainwright area his entire life with the exception of the years when he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Wainwright Auto Parts for 30 years. An avid racing fan, Clyde sponsored many cars and drivers at the Midvale Speedway over the years.

On January 2, 1966, he married Judith A. (Crouse) Mazzoleni with whom he shared 47 years of loving marriage until her passing on December 22, 2013. They are survived by their sons, Joseph (Deb) Mazzoleni, Richard (Cindy) Mazzoleni, and Greg Mazzoleni; Josh (Elaine) Irwin who was like a son to them; grandchildren, Travis, Taylor, Tylor, Brian, Austin, Marissa, Lakin, Brentin, Reggie, and Nick; and great-grandchildren, Kaylaisa, Bentlee, Ryleigh, Emmy, Carson, Aubrey, Asher, Christian, Noah, Nolan, and Rylee. Clyde will also be deeply missed by his faithful canine companion, Cuddles. In addition to his parents and wife, Clyde was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Mazzoleni.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 7, at R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
