Clara M. Barrett

Clara M. Barrett, 79, of Claymont Dr., Uhrichsville, later moved to Alliance, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 in her daughter, Thelma’s home. Born August 2, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Forest and Nellie Boles.

Clara wore many hats, helping others was her biggest achievement. She touched many lives and will leave a legacy of family and friends. She will be remembered for her big heart.

She was married September 28, 1963 to Allen D. Barrett who left us July 11, 1995. She is survived by a sister, Beverly Garabrandt of Uhrichsville; 3 daughters, Thelma (Andy) Clark-Hoover, Rosemarie (companion, Cary) Clark, Wanda (Jimmy) Green; 5 grandchildren, Jenny (Matt) Misch, Amy Lippencott, Chrissy (companion, Mike) McDaniel, Tracy (companion,Trent) Lippencott, Jimmy Allen (companion, Jen) Green; 13 great-grandchildren; a great -great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 4 sisters, Dorothy Alberta, Norma Eileen, Margaret, and Marie.

A service, officiated by Richard Burris, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the donor’s choice.
