Christie L. Jones

Christie Lynn Jones, 59, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born February 6, 1962 in Dennison, she was a daughter of Dennis Paul and Carolyn Kay (Norman) Jones of Leesville.

A lifelong area resident, Christie was the head cook for Harcatus Senior Nutrition for 25 years. She truly loved cooking and baking, and she’ll be remembered for her delicious creations. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting ceramics and was an avid fan of OSU and Browns football. Most of all, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Christie is survived by her children, Michael (Sharon) Jones, Ashli (Brandon) McPeek, Alyssia (Michael) Brindley, and Braydon West; many grandchildren; siblings, Dennis (Roxanne) Jones, Jon (Sandra) Jones, Tammy (Ray) Burrows, and Forest “Casey” (Kelli) Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her son-in-law, Pastor Michael Brindley, will officiate her funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
