Cheryl Lynn Napier

Cheryl Lynn Napier, 68, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 24, 1958 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Dorothy Jean (née Rose) Huston.

Cheryl made her home in the Twin City area for most of her life where she was a graduate of Claymont High School and had been a member of the former Grant Street United Methodist Church. She was employed by Lowe’s in New Philadelphia for many years and had also worked at several area banks. Cheryl loved flowers and had an extensive collection of bears which brought her much happiness.

On September 17, 1983, she married Darryl D. Napier who survives her at their home. She is also survived by five sons, Scott Paisley, Michael (Michelle) Paisley, Darryl D. Napier Jr., Jason Napier, and David (Tosha Roup) Napier; a daughter, Kara (Jason) Bowersock; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, E. Edward and Patricia Huston; sisters-in-law, Sally Huston and Betty Patterson; brother- and sister-in-law, Ed and Annie Napier; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald Huston and Rev. James Huston.

Pastor Michael O’Guin will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, November 9, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service.
