Cheryl Marie Hylton, 71, of Dennison, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Born June 5, 1950 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Jackie Adrian “Jack” Gold and Nancy Ann (Kleski) Eberly.
Cheryl was a 1970 graduate of Claymont High School who will be fondly remembered for her quiet, good-natured ways and her gift for listening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who had traveled around the world before returning to Dennison in 1993. She enjoyed crocheting and listening to Elvis and was Catholic by faith.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her children, Bobby (Beth) Hylton Jr., Jason (Kelly) Hylton with whom she had resided, Sonny Hylton, Nancy (companion, Bobby) Hylton, and Ethan Hylton; grandchildren, Candace, Sonny Jr., Azalynn, Kayli, Dominic, Kali, Gage, Alaylah, and Ethan Jr.; stepgrandchildren, Aiden, Maddi, Addisyn, and Zander; siblings, Teri Beitzel, Alice (John) Riley, Luanne (Lee) Ruth, and Jeff (Mary) Gold; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hylton, Sr.; brother, Walter Eberly, Jr.; and infant daughter, Joyce.
Services, officiated by Pastor Bill Eckert, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, at R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Feed Spring Church Cemetery at Uhrichsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
