Cheryl Lynn Grandison

Cheryl Lynn Grandison, 69, of Dennison, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 4, 2018, after a lengthy illness. Born October 29, 1948 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Donald Eugene Seevers and Dorothy Eleanor (Branch) Downs.

Cheryl was a 1966 graduate of Claymont High School and a lifelong Twin City resident. For many years, she was the manager at the Uhrichsville Arby’s.

On April 22, 1966, she married Charles Leroy Grandison who survives her along with their children, Charles D. (Tanna) Grandison, Jneanne (Ron) Hacker, and Stacy (Jason) Miller; grandchildren, Cody (Stephanie) Grandison, Justan Grandison, Wesley Grandison, Tara (Steven) Gintz, Kara Grandison, Nicholas Hacker, Lucas Miller and McKenzie Miller; and great-granddaughter, Mayleigh Gintz with another great-grandchild expected. Cheryl is also survived by her sisters, Kim (David) Kurzinsky and Sandy (Mike) McBride; sisters-in-law, Anna (Garry) Arnold and Karla Grandison; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Rusty Grandison, and nephew, Garry Arnold.

Her family will receive callers on Tuesday, January 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. A private, family graveside service is planned in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
