Charles "C.O." Stull

Charles Oran “C.O.” Stull, 89, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born September 8, 1928 in Tuscarawas, Ohio, he was a son of the late James Hayward and Bertha Leona (Oswald) Stull.

C.O. was a lifelong resident of the area who worked for Superior Clay for 50 years until his retirement in 1996. For over 20 years, he enjoyed golfing in the Senior League at Five Waters Golf Course, and he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. C.O. loved to go dancing and especially enjoyed going to Randy Velez shows.

On August 5, 1950, he married the former Irene Emma Page with whom he enjoyed over 57 years of marriage until her passing on January 28, 2008. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Mae Fahner, Evelyn June Swinderman, Betty Reichman, and Margaret Brady, and brother, Arthur H. Stull. His surviving family includes his sons, Vaughn (Jean) Stull and Duane (Patty) Stull; stepson, Randy (Noosheen) Swad; grandchildren, Sara (Brian) Dittfeld, Chantil (Justin) Milam, Vaughn (Caitlin Cable) Stull, Brooke (Matt) Wilson, Dustin Swad, Lauren Hardy, Nicole (Bryan) Coles and Carisa (Mike) Pryor; 9 great-grandchildren; twin brother, James Warren Stull; brother- and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Mary Page; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for C.O., officiated by Hal Oswald, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery beside his beloved wife. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
