Charles A. Beatty

Charles Andrew Beatty, who was also known as Charlie, passed away at the age of 66 in his Uhrichsville home, following a recent heart surgery. Born October 6, 1958 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of the late Ronald Dean and Shirley Jean (Striker) Beatty. Charlie was a lifelong area resident who had been employed as an oil rig worker until his health prevented him. When he wasn’t working, he loved kicking back and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be missed by his sons, Charles A. (Brittney) Beatty Jr., Luke (K.C.) Beatty, Jason (companion, Nina) Beatty, and Rusty Beatty, and a number of grandchildren, as well as his siblings, Ronnie (companion, Valerie) Beatty Jr., Theresa Beatty, Shirley Jordan, Timothy Beatty, Cara Beatty, and Diana Beatty, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Beatty, two brothers, David and Sam Beatty, and his former spouse, Victoria Shaw.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. William Surber, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where his family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
