Bridgett A. Harding, 47, of New Philadelphia, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2024. She had a hard but brief battle with cancer and was surrounded by her beloved husband, her daughters and family during her final moments. Born on February 6, 1976, in Dennison, she was a daughter of Zora Toj and the late Richard Sinden.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Harding, who was her best friend and partner in life for the last 30 years. She is also survived by her daughters, Brianna Sinden of Canton, Jennifer (Nathan) Short of New Philadelphia, and Taylor Harding of New Philadelphia, and her two grandsons, Christian and Gabriel Short. Bridgett was the older sister of Becky Sinden and Susan Sinden, daughter-in-law to Tom and Jenny Harding, and sister-in-law to Tammy (Chris) Baker and Tom (companion, Shannon Garabrandt) Harding. She was the aunt of several nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many in her community.
Bridgett was employed at Bell Store gas stations for more than a decade and was known for remembering regulars’ orders, her sassy smile, contagious laugh, and always having a pocket full of dog treats for all her favorite four-legged friends. When she was not taking care of others, Bridgett loved reading, camping trips, long motorcycle rides with her husband, and spoiling the children and pets in her life. Bridgett will be remembered forever for her big heart, compassionate nature, and her ability to see beauty in everything around her.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated. Her family plans to have a celebration of her life on a future date, and this website will be updated with details when they are confirmed. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring her memory may be made to Crossroads Hospice and the Tuscarawas County Humane Society.
