Brenda A. Tidrick

Brenda Ann Tidrick, 65, of Uhrichsville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at The Cleveland Clinic after an ongoing illness. Born August 6, 1947 in Belington, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Willie John and Helen Lucille (Ketchem) Rotruck.

Brenda was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family and being with her grandchildren, family and friends, including her beloved dogs. She enjoyed making crafts, collecting Indian items, NASCAR racing and holding yard sales each summer.

On December 19, 1964, Brenda married her husband, Roger D. Tidrick, and has been married for forty-eight years. She is also survived by her children, Mark Tidrick and his wife, Shawn, of Dennison, Michael Tidrick and his wife, Melody, of Uhrichsville and Lori Smitley and her husband, Tom, of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Michael Tidrick Jr., Christopher Smitley, Jessica Tidrick, Steven Byers and Matthew Torgler; brothers, Randy Rotruck and his wife, Pat, of Uhrichsville and Gary Rotruck and his wife, Tammy, of Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Rotruck.

Services for Brenda, officiated by Pastor Florence McNutt, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
