Brenda Joyce Donahue, 70, of Dennison, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison, after a lengthy illness. Born October 21, 1952 in California, she was a daughter of the late Rosalie and Robert (Stanley) Kelly-Robinson and Walt Kelly.

A resident of the Dennison area for the past 20 years, Brenda had previously lived in many different regions of the country, including while she served in the U.S. Army. Locally, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and had worked as a healthcare aide for Ember Home Healthcare and Stepping Stone. She loved the ocean and had a large collection of dolphin figurines and mementos. She also enjoyed going to the Tuscarawas County Senior Center with her dear friend, Dixie Malter, until her health prevented her, and she was proud to have crocheted a blanket for each of her grandchildren.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her sons, Thomas (wife, Tanya) Clift II, Jeremy (wife, Nancy) Clift, and Daniel (fiancée, Kayla) Donahue; grandchildren, Alexandria (fiancé, Aaron), Taylor (fiancé, Robert), Nathan, Tiarra, Tommi, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Harper and another who is expected; siblings, Robert Robinson, James Robinson, Cheryl Barr, Colleen Ball, Nancy Brown, Kenneth Robinson, and Randy Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine companions, Peanut and Tootsie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vicki Robinson and Robbie Balaban.

According to Brenda’s wishes, cremation is planned. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring her memory may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 524 W. 3 rd St., Uhrichsville, OH  44683.
