Brenda Lee Ditcher, 66, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away at her home while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 12, 2025. Born May 20, 1959 in Dennison, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Delmar Lee and Peggy Lou (Stull) Clark. Brenda was a lifelong resident of Tuscarawas County and a 1977 graduate of Indian Valley South High School.
On November 25, 1978, she married Paul K. Ditcher II who survives her at their home. Brenda was a devoted wife and a loving mother to their three children, Mandy (Cash) Williamson, Lacey (Ryan) Patacca, and Kyle (companion, Casey Deems) Ditcher. She also took great delight in her grandchildren, Braden, Hanah, and Avery Williamson, and Nolan and Aubrie Patacca. Brenda was a stay-at-home mom throughout her children’s youth, before spending 11 years working at Twin City Hospital in Dennison.
Brenda’s surviving family is completed by her brother, Delmar “Al” Clark; mother-in-law, Delecta Ditcher; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Phil Ditcher, Darissa Lute, and Mark and Jody Ditcher; and many nieces and nephews, including Jessica Edwards and Nathan Edwards with whom Brenda had enjoyed an especially close relationship. Her family wishes to express their deep gratitude to her special friend and caregiver, Shannon Robinson. Brenda will also be missed by her faithful canine, Riley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Penny Edwards, and father-in-law, Paul Ditcher.
Heidi Willison will officiate a funeral service at noon on Tuesday, September 16, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery. Those wishing to honor Brenda’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Ohio’s Hospice Foundation, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
