Bonnie L. Craigo

Bonnie Lee Craigo, 79, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. Born December 14, 1936 in Uhrichsville, she was a daughter of the late James Orr and Helen Marie (Tharp) Garrett.

A lifelong resident of the area, Bonnie was a 1954 graduate of Uhrichsville High School and was employed by the Evening Chronicle for a number of years before working many years at Square Deal until her retirement. She was a faithful member of LifeWay in New Philadelphia. Above all else, Bonnie loved her family and the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as playing cards with her sisters.

On June 5, 1960, Bonnie married William Henry Craigo, Jr., enjoying over fifty years of marriage until his passing on April 8, 2011. They are survived by children, Joyce (Mark) Wright, Cindy (Jerry) Waycaster and Mark (Amy) Craigo; grandchildren, Justin (Allyson) Wright, Lane Craigo, Lindsaye (Stan) Dombrowski, Briana (Dan) Lusheck, Tom Waycaster, John (Dawn) Waycaster and Denise (Jack) Bunnenberg; great-grandchildren, Camden, Jakson, Chantz, Mason, Emma, Kailen, Lauren, Nicholas and Joe, with another expected; and great-great-grandchildren, Ariana and Annabella. Bonnie is also survived by brothers, Lewis, Donald (Marilyn) and Ronald Garrett; sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Anderson, Beverly (Bill) Langdon and Jean Ann Padgett; and many dear extended family members including in-laws, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Kay Rossman, Betty Lerlene Best and Estelle Best, and brothers, James Jr., Fred and William Garrett.

Services, officiated by Pastors Larry Fletcher and Minnie Garabrandt, will be held at 11am on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Uhrichsville. Visitation will be 2-5pm on Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
