Beverly K. Mcgill

Beverly Kim McGill, 57, of Bowerston, passed away at the home of her fiancé in Uhrichsville on Monday, April 25, 2016, after a brief illness. Born May 26, 1958 in Dennison, she was the daughter of Margaret Ruth (Wyant) McGill and the late Kenneth Dale McGill.

Beverly was a resident of Bowerston throughout her life and a graduate of Conotton Valley High School in the class of 1976. After high school, she began her career of more than 33 years in the dietary department of Sunnyslope Nursing Home in Bowerston. In her youth, she was a member of the Rainbow Girls, and later was a Matron in the Order of Eastern Star. A lifelong Methodist, she had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bowerston where she sang in the choir for many years, and was currently a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiancé, Chuck Lyons; brothers, Kenneth L. and Paul E. McGill; and nephews and niece, Jeffrey, James, Montana and Autumn.

Services for Beverly, officiated by Pastor Jerralyn Myers, will be held at 1pm on Thursday, April 28, 2016, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow alongside her father, grandparents and great-grandparents in Longview Cemetery in Bowerston. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11am to 1pm on Thursday.
