Barbara J. Milburn

Barbara J. Milburn, 87, of Uhrichsville passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home on February 28, 2020. Born April 13, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Connie W. and Vera (Prosperi) Thompson.

Barb had attended Uhrichsville High School and had been a member of the Dennison Eagles and the Uhrichsville Elks.  Barb worked in housekeeping for Twin City Hospital for over 26 years until her retirement.  She loved birds, tropical fish, tending her flower garden, and traveling.

On December 20, 1950, Barb married James L. Milburn who preceded her in death on November 3, 2014. They are survived by survived by their children, Gary (Nadine) Milburn, Duane Milburn, and Ken Milburn, Sr.; grandchildren, Gary (Jill), Cathy, Duane “D.J.” (Heather), Troy (Nikki), Ken II (Missy), Shawn, and James “J.R.”; great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Rylee, Carson, Rylan, Brady, Lilly, Ellie, and Zella; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barb’s family would like to thank everyone who helped care for her, including family and friends, special friend Peggy Bernard, and Community Hospice.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, she had been cremated without public visitation. A memorial service is planned for a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice.
