Barbara A. Mcrobie

November 13, 1946 — November 1, 2010

Barb McRobie, 63 of Dennison, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 1, 2010 after a year long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 13, 1946 in Dennison, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late
Marjorie (Natoli) McBeth Schroll and is survived by her father, Floyd D. McBeth of
Bolivar.

Barb was a resident of the Twin City area for much of her life and a graduate of
Uhrichsville High School, class of 1964. Barb’s greatest joy was her family
and seven grandchildren. She lovingly devoted her life to them. Barb’s home was filled
with her love, joy, and the wonderful smells of her cooking for the family. Coloring
Easter eggs, baking cookies, picnics, trips to plays, especially the Nutcracker Ballet
will be fondly remembered by her family.

Barb touched many lives in her career of 39 years at Union Hospital helping new
parents and babies in pediatrics. She truly loved her work seeing the precious gift
of life in the newborns she cared for. After her retirement she continued to volunteer
at the hospital until her health failed her. Barb leaves behind many friends at Union and will be especially missed by her dear friend, Rose Bates.

She leaves three daughters; Lisa McRobie Swigert and husband Steve of Uhrichsville,
Amy McRobie Lutyj and husband Valentin of Monroe Falls, and Tina McRobie Carpenter and husband Jaime of Clayton, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Stone and Sierra Swigert, Alexa and Taylor Deininger, Carly Lutyj, and Hannah and Emma Carpenter; a sister, Natalie Lupi and husband Donald of New Philadelphia and Albert Wayne McRobie, of Port Washington, father of the three daughters.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, November
3, at 5:00 p.m. in the New Life Church of God, 115 South Ave., Dover, Ohio. Family
and friends are invited to call from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the church prior to the
service. Interment is in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.

Those wishing to honor Barb’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged
to do so to the American Cancer Society. Floral offerings may be delivered to the
New Life Church of God. She will be missed by all who knew her.
