Anna Miller, 88, of Plum Run Rd., Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville after a battle with cancer. Born November 15, 1923 in Smithfield, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late John and Nellie (Kroleryk) Rozneck.
On November 1, 1952, Anna married Charles E. Miller with whom she was looking forward to celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary in the fall. In addition to her husband, she is survived by their son, Terry Miller of Carrollton; grandson, Charles Miller and his wife, Helen, of Carrollton; great-grandsons, Kyle, Cody and Jaxon Miller of Carrollton; and numerous nieces and nephews. The last of her family’s generation, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jay, and three brothers, John, Frank and Joe.
Anna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She also worked at the Scio Pottery for a time before spending more than twenty years with Sunnyslope Nursing Home in Bowerston.
A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Mark Unrue, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, in Tunnel Hill Cemetery near Bowerston. Family and friends are invited to call at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
