Anna J. Mccoy

Anna J. McCoy, 82, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison, Ohio. Born February 15, 1943 in Creola, Ohio, she was the last surviving child of the late Granville Jackson and Lilie Belle (Short) McCoy, having been preceded in death by ten siblings.

A Twin City resident for much of her life, Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker who had also worked at the Scio Pottery, prior to its closing, and Clean Test Products in Beach City. Anna was a woman of deep faith who loved spending time with Lord in prayer and reading her Bible. She had been a member at Uhrichsville First Assembly of God for many years, and had most recently attended Bethel Worship Center. She also loved crocheting and working puzzle books.

Anna will be deeply missed by her children, William J. Malone, Timothy A. (Kathy) Malone, Ronald D. Malone, Michael A. Marburger, and Thomas Mizer; eighteen grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolly Hunt, and a grandson.

Her family will receive callers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, before Pastor John Stevenson officiates a 1:00 p.m. funeral service. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Bethel Worship Center, in lieu of flowers.
