Anna Marie Williamson

Anna Marie Williamson, 88, of New Philadelphia, O., formerly of the Twin City area, was called home to join her family and Lord in Heaven on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from Amberwood Manor in New Philadelphia, following a period of declining health.

Born August 25, 1921 in Perry Co., O., she was a daughter of the late Cornelius Hamilton and Fonnie Belle (Matheney) Williamson.

The last of her family’s generation, Marie was preceded in death by five brothers, Floyd R., Bernard D., Wilbur F., Merle E. and Earl G. Williamson. She was also preceded in death by four nieces, Marlene, Linda, Nancy and Maggie, and a nephew, Floyd “Tike”.

Her surviving family includes a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, including Delores Cox and Brenda Stull, both of Uhrichsville.

A private family graveside service will be held in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery where Marie will be interred with her parents.
