Anna Mae Terry Jackson

September 11, 1931 — October 7, 2014

Anna Mae Terry Jackson, 83, of Uhrichsville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She is preceded in death by her father, James Taylor; mother, Sarah Marshall; and sister, Margaret Marshall.

Anna leaves behind a legacy of children: Larry Jackson, Nathaniel Jackson and Yvonne Taylor; numerous grandchildren including: Rolunda (Adrain) Vasquez, Meika Taylor, Giovanni Taylor, and Tarik Jackson; many great-grandchildren including: Taeovonni, Tawrence, Traivis, TreyQuawn (Lori), Te‘-Amo, and Te‘-Jean Quickley, Isaiah and Isaac Lopez, Charisma Crable, and Jordan, Jamal, Jaelyn, Giovanna and Nyliah Taylor; and great-great-grandchildren: Lilly, Chance, Mariana, and Tomarion.

Her extended family members are the McKoy, Grandison, and Gibson families. She will also be missed by her devoted caregivers at Ember Complete Care. Those who knew her will remember her quick wit and how helpful she was. Anna was always ready to lend a helping hand, even if it meant working sun up to sun down. She retired from Ember Complete Care in the mid-2000s. Anna was well loved and always had a kind word or funny anecdote. She rarely complained about the pain she suffered.

Rev. Joseph McKoy will officiate her Going Home memorial service on Friday, October 17, at noon in Grace United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall in Uhrichsville. All are invited to come celebrate with her family the life and going home of their mother and friend, Ms. Anna Mae Terry Jackson. “Now as she is our angel that we shall sleep with.”
