Anita Kay Wilson, 46, of Sugarcreek passed away on August 13, 2017 at the Community Hospice Truman House following a courageous battle with cancer. Born January 26, 1971 in Dennison she was a daughter of John Benjamin and Nancy Ann (Brown) Wilson.
Anita was a 1989 graduate of Indian Valley High School and worked for New Dawn Retirement Community for over 21 years as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed cooking and baking and attended Pleasant Grove Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Jon Wilson; brothers, Rod (Pam) Wilson of Bolivar and Ben (Benita) Wilson of Texas; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Jordan) Beitzel, Tanya (Justin) Davis, Tyler (Marisa) Coventry, Bryan Wilson, and Brandon (Jordan) Wilson; great nieces, Octavia and Estelle; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her fiancé, David T. Miller, sister, Deborah Wilson, and grandparents, Garnet Brown, and Norma and Steve Wilson.
Pastor David Koch will officiate a service at 5 pm on Saturday. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 pm, two hours prior. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Dover’s Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Pleasant Grove Church or Community Hospice.
